Famine Relief Phase II
The report covers the second phase of the food distribution project which was funded by Nak‐Karitative. The response to the emergency situation was three pronged: • 140 cartons of High Energy biscuits (HEB) were imported into Kenya from Germany to cater for the individuals weakened by malnutrition. • 300 Collapsible water containers were imported into Kenya from Germany to provide safe clean water for homes in the sun scorched arid lands. • Food aid packs also were distributed to select families in Kenya East and Central. In total 10,400 families received food aid packs.
