Famine Relief Phase I
Kujenga Maisha East Africa (KUMEA), received funding through partnering with Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, (Germany) and has distributed Maize and Beans to the people of Kenya Central, Kenya East and Rift Valley Regions. The maize and beans were packed in 10 kgs and 5 kgs bags respectively. The distribution of maize and beans to people affected by the drought has now been completed. A total of 13,689 families have benefited from the donation. In addition to the maize and beans distribution, Help also donated 30 Water filters (PAULS) to help provide clean water to the affected families.
